Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Sharpsburg will have a workshop meeting on Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 9:00am until 4:00pm.  The meeting will be held at the Upper Coastal Plain Counsel of Government meeting room, 121 W. Nash Street, Wilson, NC 27893.     The purpose of the workshop is to start the formulation of the Town of Sharpsburg’s comprehensive strategic plan.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL CALLED MEETING

Please take Notice that the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the Town of Sharpsburg has scheduled a Special Called Meeting for 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2010, in the Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room in the Town Hall.  The purpose of the Special Called Meeting is to discuss the following:

• Consideration by the Board to accept the proposal for purchase of the Water and Sewer Revenue Bond Anticipation Note
• Consideration by the Board to accept the Contract for Recreation Planning Services from the Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments.

Please take Notice that the Planning Board of the Town of Sharpsburg will hold their Regular Scheduled Meeting on October 27, 2010 at 6:30 p.m., in the Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room in the Town Hall.  The date change is due to a scheduling conflict.

The public is invited to attend.  Anyone interested may obtain a copy of the proposed items at the Town Office.
